Nothing will ever change what music is for and means to me.
But, if anything else ever does challenge me to contemplate my cross-cultural experience and expression as intimately as music does, my mode of living will have to change, as I suppose it constantly is. But my mode of living is never dynamic without the basic foundation and understanding that music is my only conduit into myself, my only religion, my only real way of connecting to other human beings.
